- Unexpected LocationIn Troubleshooting·June 6, 2022So last Thursday I received an email stating this: It appears that your Starlink is located far from your account's registered service address. You will be unable to receive service outside of your designated coverage area starting tomorrow, June 3, 2022. To maintain service, you can enable the Portability feature to use Starlink at both your current location and at your registered service address. You may also update your service address to your current location if there is capacity. Although my dish is at the registered address I thought I would add portability to stop from loosing the service, I also updated my service address using Google plus code to be more specific. I still lost my service and now have either an Unexpected location warning or a disconnected warning. I tried stowing and unstowing also tried factory reset and still nothing. I opened multiple support tickets and haven't heard anything back. Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong or could try?3810427

- Drip Loops Are ImportantIn Installation Tips·April 15, 2022Even morning condensation travelling down a cable line can ad up over the years. If it penetrates in behind your wall it can begin to create rot inside. The idea of the drip loop is to have the water fall off at the bottom of the curve, long before it gets to the opening.37468
- Splitting networks? In General Discussions·May 16, 2022Hi, New here and to Starlink. I absolutely LOVE my Starlink so far. I live very rural, off grid completely. I had Viasat with its super slow/unreliable signal and data caps for 15 years. I wasn't aware there was an option for me. The blog on speed testing very informative, thank you. I read in it that blog the networks will switch automatically? So in settings on the app, should I split the networks? Thanks1121219
- SP Red Test Only?In General Discussions·June 18, 2022I have had Starlink for about 6 months now (what a life saver here in northern Maine). I can't figure out why my starlink router is broadcasting an SSID called "SP Red Test Only". This is not something I set up, nor can I access or remove it. I decided to contact Starlink support about it today (will update on the response). Does anyone else have this SSID being broadcast by their Starlink router? Anyone know what this is?296666
- All is great until it's notIn 2nd Gen Dishy·May 19, 2023Starlink has been great for nearly a year. Couple days ago it went offline at 2:00 p.m. and now it continuously cycles online offline online offline. Customer service, I am not even sure if they exist and if they do I am certainly not feeling the Elon love. Very frustrating. I don't know if it's the service or if my equipment failed. I have rebooted, reset, stowed, triple checked connections, no change. We pay a premium for equipment and monthly service but yet get no support. Figures, the day my plan rate is increased to $150, this happens111188

- Dishy 2.0 PerformanceIn 2nd Gen DishyFebruary 8, 2022Just got mine today, I have second Gen dish. Very well built and for having a storm today and just setting the dish on my truck, it's been working great. DL has been anywhere from 100-260 Mbps, upload is 15-20 mbps, ping is sitting around 30-50. It's just wifi for now, as I am waiting for them to ship the ethernet port. Until i can get the poll up, the dish is seeing about 2% of the sky blocked.35

- Starlink for small businessesIn General Discussions·May 18, 2022Dear community, I own a small business and want to order Starlink. However, Starlink say in their terms and conditions, that non-business-type of Starlink is prohibited to use it for businesses. On the other hand, the business-type of Starlink is about 500 USD per month and way too expensive for small businesses. I can't ask anybody at Starlink, because they don't provide any customer hotline or email for such pre-sales questions. Could anybody share experiences regarding this topic? I did some research and found out, that obviously non-business Starlink was also used by companies. Best regards110319
