Thanks for the info on the pipe diameter-I assume the dish will be Gen 2, but don’t know if that's true. I had used the app to check for obstructions, and it “saw“ the house as an obstruction. I had tried this from ground level, at about 5‘ away from the house to simulate what the dish would see if mounted just above the eaves, but that was a pretty crude approach - I didn’t know if the app was “smart enough“ to ignore obstructions that wouldn’t matter as there would be sufficient satellites directly overhead. My thinking might be off, but thought Starlink would opt to track satellites straight up rather than a shallow angle to minimize distance and latency.
