The standard Gen 2 supplied cable is much too long for my installation. My run will only be about 15 feet. What might I do with the excess ? (not interested in cutting and splicing) Related question, is the SL cable rated for outdoors / harsh weather? Are you folks protecting your wires somehow? thx
