Having same / similar problem to many of you... received Gen 2 Starlink (surprise - no ethernet port!)... bought the adapater, and ethernet end of adapter was dead. Spent hours researching / troubleshooting to no avail. Submitted help tickets and finally got Starlink to agree to replace the adapter... BUT that shipment has been in "preparation" for 2 months... two weeks ago they said the DHL label had been created and it was just awaiting pickup - but it still has not shipped (no tracking #). In my desperation, I bought another ethernet adapter via Amazon for $75 (incl. shipping / fees to Chile) and it arrived in 5 days. Tried connecting it, and had the same exact problem as the first - no power to the ethernet end of adapter. Tried all the troubleshooting steps again (factory reset, stow / unstow, changing cables, using bypass mode, praying and lighting candles, etc etc) - to no avail. After trying second adapter with same exact problem of ethernet end being totally dead (but Starlink wireless working without a problem), I suspect it's a faulty router. Just wrote to Starlink to explain / request replacement router - we'll see how they respond. It's maddening because I've had this system for about 3 months now and am unable to use it as intended since I require a hardwired connection to a WAN port on a switch.
