While I also thought that could be the issue, when I'm connected to the starlink router, either wirelessly or via the ethernet adapter, speeds are great across the board with low latency. The splice is solid and not the cause of the issue. I have determined that it is the TP Link equipment that I purchased which is the culprit, as if I am anywhere in the network between that and the starlink, all is well. as soon as I connect via the TP Link, latency shoots up and upload drops. I'll be returning that equipment either for something from Unifi or burying more ethernet cable.
