Unplug at night

I'm not sure regarding Power Bar, I'm using a power strip with multiple outlets to plug into and with a surge protector. Here's a link to what they look like. Mine is plugged into a power strip. I've just been leaving mine on, for the week I've had it. I think it would be fine to turn your router off at night, especially easy with a switch and you'd save on electricity.
