Greetings. New member here. I've had my gen2 SL system since March and it's been working fine. Recently I wanted to install a WiFi mesh system in my house, so I bought the Ethernet adapter and a kit from FreeMesh (OpenWrt based router). I plugged the WAN side of my router into the Ethernet adapter, but I can't get an IP address. The FreeMesh router is configured to use DHCP to obtain an address from the SL router. Unfortunately I don't have another router to test with, so I don't know if it's the FreeMesh router that's misconfigured, or if the problem is on the SL side. I did try plugging my laptop into the adapter, but it doesn't receive an IP address either. This makes me think the problem is on the SL end. I'm not using PoE to power the FreeMesh router. It's using its own power supply. I've tried the WiFi bypass mode, but it didn't make a difference. A few days ago, I filed a support ticket, but haven't heard back from SL yet. Has anyone else run into this?

When students face tight deadlines and complex topics, seeking help can be crucial. One effective solution is to ask experts, "do my assignment for me." This approach ensures high-quality work and timely submission, allowing students to focus on other academic and personal responsibilities, ultimately leading to better stress management and improved academic performance.
Hi Henrik, welcome to the community. Starlink routers don’t like to play nice with other routers from my experience. Have you seen a message pop up once in a while in the app saying “Non Starlink WiFi Router” with it connected through the Ethernet adapter? It seems to work for the most part with other equipment in the line up, but once in a while seems to fight back and kick the non Starlink brand routers or other wireless equipment from the network. I haven’t worked specifically with the FreeMesh brand but you may be right with the issue being on Starlinks end or possibly the Ethernet adapter itself. Did you end up hearing back from Starlink?
