It was validated as real. We submitted ours and received a response back from our representative that it was received. Here is the email (with link) I received, then the response from our Senator.
Thank you for helping ensure Starlink remains usable for you and the vast majority of Americans. With your help, we hope to prevent the lobbyists from winning and ensure your continued access to high-speed, low-latency internet. The Starlink team will continue to fight this battle and will provide an update once an outcome is reached. Thanks again for your support!

Elon tweeted a request for community lobbying of the FCC to oppose Dish. However, none of the dozen+ SpaceX bloggers that I’ve notified have even heard of it.
Hello Gary, welcome to the community! It has been going under the radar surprisingly...although this is only in the United States now I'm sure it will be effecting other areas as well. Regardless it needs to get out there for people to be able to respond, thanks to Alan Wolfe for bringing it up!
Link below is an article that addresses the issue of the Spectrum battle that could impact Starlink.
We are new to Starlink this week after a two year wait. Located in Eastern North Carolina. This would be a great disappointment to all US Starlink users according to the article. (info doesn't address the global impact if any). The form letter asked to let the FCC know your opinion. We did send in form letter with our comments to Federal Representatives.
Hey Alan, not yet…hopefully soon. Looks like there pretty backed up at Starlink, there was a warning when I submitted it in that they have a long waiting time due to volume.
Hey Alan, I did not receive this email from Starlink. I did dig into it and there is a statement on Starlink's website. After finding that article I did do some digging online which eventuality lead me to your article. It might only be for select areas, hence the reason I might not have gotten the email. I'm going to submit a ticket into to Starlink just to verify that it is them asking this and not some sort of elaborate scam. It's weird that they don't have any request or link in the articles on Starlink's site that lead to the form...
They replied back, the issue only pertains to USA but I'm sure there are other providers that will piggyback off of Dish Networks approach and copy there move. But this answers as to why I didn't receive the email(Canada) and you did, definitely legit, wish I could be submitting one too!
