So I finally got around to putting a hole through the house to run the cable line but now I can't get the stand off the pole to unplug the line from the dishy so I can run the cable through the house! I press the little button on the pole and it doesn't do anything. Did anyone have any issues with this?

Hi John, It can be a little bit finicky to detach the dish from its pole mount. You can always try pushing the button and rotating side to side while pulling up at the same time. That tends to get it unstuck.
