Just joined forum! Hello all!
Just received our hardware and getting ready to do a roof top install and have a Flashing mount and the pivot mount. I read the following statement in the guide "After a few minutes, Starlink will make an initial connection to the Starlink constellation and tilt to the optimum angle for satellite coverage (slightly north or south based on your location in the northern or southern hemisphere)." I live in east coast central Florida about 15 miles south of Daytona Beach. Can I assume the dish will auto orientate and tilt slightly to the north? I'm concerned about a possible obstruction to the south.
Have a great day!

Hello Ron, welcome to the community! It is hard for me to say which way your Dishy will point, unlike the geostationary satellite with a single connection that we're use to using, these LEO (low earth satellites) are many, and they'll be both north and south of your position. The Starlink "obstruction viewer" inside the app will tell you which way your Dishy will be pointing and if there is any interference from trees on your property, north, south, east and west. The tool is very easy to use, we've made a video and blog on this as well. Hope this helps!
