Starlink support were in contact by email a couple of days back asking how my service was going here in Alice Springs Australia, and I quote: "Starlink are the first to deploy space laser technology at this scale, and your location is among the first to receive this service." We are generally outside the reach of all Australia's ground stations in the deep outback. When I told them how it was going the response was basically "thanks" no details asked for, no trouble-shooting, just kinda...have a nice day y'all! But they have since asked for installation photos and have told me they are tweaking the software. For the record in the last 12 hours, I've had 18 "network issues", 16 "no signal received" each being between 15-45 seconds and then 7 "possibly obstructed" notifications where there is ZERO obstruction. I am cheering Starlink on with this new technology. But it appears when you take the big step beyond the thin blue line, and the ground stations, they may have a way to go until more go online.

Very interesting Chris! Thanks for sharing. They certainly are leading the pack with satellite internet technology. Curious to see what other companies start to come out of the wood work because of Starlink.
